Ol Nob's Been Robbed
Some bastard managed to hack into ol' Nob's account and steal his gold, pawn his items, and somehow put up a 72-hour ban on his account.
While it's true that this old warlock could have used a break from the game, he could've done without gettin robbed.

Sorry to hear this... I know how much time you've committed to this game and if Blizzard won't return your stuff, might as well refuse to pay them. They'd be stupid not to reimburse you the items that were stolen; $15per month for 12 months is $180. If they're fine losing your money, you should be fine losing your subscription to their game. There are much better time-killers out there anyway...
